Tell us a little bit about yourself and your space.
I am an Interior Designer and own my own company Nicole Leak Designs in London, Ontario. I have a Honours Bachelor of Interior Design Degree. I love all things design and have a passion for Heritage spaces. Urban Barn is my favourite place to source items for my clients. I love the unique designs; quality and the medium price point that clients feel confident at purchasing something that isn't going to fall apart. Urban Barn NEVER disappoints me when I am sourcing furniture and accessories for my clients and my own home.
How would you describe your decorating style?
My personal decorating style is a modern farmhouse that keeps up with the modern trends but as a touch of character but as a designer I don't have a typical design style, what makes a good designer is listening to your clients in what they want and like and helping them discover their design style.
Tell us about your favourite Urban Barn piece and why you love it
I have a few Urban Barn favourites
1. The Berg sofa, if you are looking for a deep sofa to cuddle up in to watch a movie or read this is your sofa! I love it in a boucle material and perfect for a movie theater room as well.
2. The Daleyza small vase in either black or white is essential decor piece to finish off your space. The Daleyza vase with some eucalyptus stems, pampas grass or pussy willow steps goes perfect for your coffee table decor, console decor or dining table center piece.
3. Kamari Reclaimed Wood Bookshelf - Tauno Oat, I absolutely LOVE the character of the arched bookshelves. I also love this in a bedroom or a closet to accessorise purses, shoes etc. on. The two-toned arched shelf is perfect for any space.
