Tell us a little bit about yourself and your space.
I am 37 yrs old and I work under the provincial government, however my passion is in home design. I am the wife of a General Contractor and a mom of two amazing boys. We have built a few homes now together and I found my love of Interior Design within the process and have decided to pursue this further than just builds for us. Because we have two small boys, I gave up the bookkeeping for our small business and hired out. I went from having a home office to converting that space to a gym. But I still needed a desk/area to work at and not be in a separate room from the boys. This space is located directly beside our playroom in what was once a decorative alcove built out for design purposes.
How would you describe your decorating style?
I would say my design style is simplistic, functional and more on the contemporary side.
Tell us about your favourite Urban Barn piece and why you love it
I love so many UB pieces, but my favourite would have to be the Stellen Armchair. It is so comfy and functional. I find myself sitting in it more often than our Berg Sofa regularly and it coincidentally shares our son's name.
