We are a full-service turn-key design build firm that offers a complete Furnishing and Styling package as part of every project. This project, The Elrose, is designed to honour our client’s rural heritage, and embrace all things ‘modern farmhouse’ with a timeless edge.
How would you describe your decorating style?
Many folks have tried, it cannot be done! :) Versatile is the best answer. We do MCM, French, Mountain Modern, Scandinavian - but our favorite thing? To create new design styles using unexpected blends of eclectic, vintage and modern. So, to answer your question in two words: Bespoke Beauty.
Tell us about your favourite Urban Barn piece and why you love it.
Right now, the Tacona armchair. Firstly, boucle. Need we say more? It’s simple yet not boring. The size is perfect for compact spaces but can handle open rooms with a nice side table. The wood tone is warm and goes with everything. And the view from behind is just as good (a clincher for many of today’s open layouts - gone are the days of furniture backed against walls!). I’m a sucker for a nice leather detail.
