Tell us a little bit about yourself and your space.

My husband and I recently purchased a new build home. Walking into it was like seeing the perfect blank canvas, but even a blank canvas needs work! This is where my passion for decorating started. Watching a space change overtime as you add new colours, fabrics, accents, and furniture is an exciting process. We have a long way to go to completing the rest of our home, but we are ready to work our way through the spaces.

How would you describe your decorating style?

Hands down I am a modern farmhouse decorator! I absolutely love mixing old with new to create timeless designs. When decorating a room, I am very drawn to using neutral and warm colours to create the cozy spaces. We get a lot of cold and gloomy days outside in Canada so it’s important for me to keep the style warm and bright inside!

Tell us about your favourite Urban Barn piece and why you love it.

This is a tough one because I love it all! But if I had to pick a piece from our dining room it would be our Churchill Extension Dining Table. The colour/size/design is always a conversation starter with our guests!

Which Urban Barn location is your favourite to shop at and why?

My favourite location would be Stoney Creek, ON. The Urban Barn team here is fantastic! Always welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable on their products. It’s why I keep coming back because the products are great and so is the service.
