Tell us a little bit about yourself and your space
I work as an art director in the fashion industry and also have a small interior design consulting studio on the side. This space is a collection of items from travel, family photos, favourite books and objects. It is meant to be a place we can relax, spend family time and reflect. I wanted to be thoughtful with the furniture selection and find pieces that suited the space. Neutrals with great texture was the goal for the large furniture pieces. I am still on the hunt for the perfect coffee table!
How would you describe your decorating style?
Thoughtful and sentimental, I gravitate towards high-contracts palettes and natural textures. Black, white, grey, and then warm wood or terracotta tones.
Tell us about your favourite Urban Barn piece and why you love it
The two urban barn chairs are definitely my favorite furniture pieces in this room. They fit together so effortlessly, and I love how they feel so light and airy in this smaller space. They are a conversation piece for guests, they are always so pleasantly surprised how soft and comfortable they are.
