Tell us a little bit about yourself and your space.
My name is Lamia. I am a mom of two with a love for all things interior design. My family recently moved into our new home and I am enjoying the process of making our house a home. Our living room(pictured) is the heart of our home and probably the space we spend most of our time. With two young children and a love for whites and neutrals, I have tried to incorporate pieces that are both beautiful and functional. A bright, clean space and easy to clean furnishings have helped create a space we can enjoy and feel relaxed in.
How would you describe your decorating style?
I would describe it as transitional. I like a mix of traditional and modern pieces. I lean towards light woods and neutral colors. I also love to add natural elements to my spaces including easy to maintain plants and greenery.
Tell us about your favourite Urban Barn piece and why you love it
I have so many throughout my home but in the space pictured my favourite piece is the Tacona armchair. It tied our living room together nicely and kept our large windows clear from obstruction. Though it's light in colour it has been incredibly easy to clean.
