Motion Furniture Care
Proper care of your motion furniture adds years of use to the piece. Protect your investment by following these easy steps.
Set up and Moving
Follow assembly instructions closely. Failure to assemble motion furniture correctly may result in injury or damage to your sofa or chair.
The correct way to move your sofa or chair is by lifting it from the base. Don’t slide or drag furniture that isn’t fitted with castors, as this can cause breakage. Never move your motion furniture by the armrests.
Operating Motion Furniture Safely
Furniture with moving mechanisms should be operated with care.
Keep seats and backs in an upright position when not in use.
Do not allow children to play on or near mechanized furniture or to operate mechanisms.
Maintenance
Bolts, screws and knobs can loosen after an extended period. This can damage the frame and cause instability. It’s important to check and tighten all bolts, screws and knobs periodically. We recommend you do this at least every four (4) months or as needed.
Do not use your furniture unless all bolts, screws and knobs are firmly secured. If parts are missing, broken, damaged or worn, stop use of the product until repairs are made.
