Tell us a little bit about yourself and your space.
I designed and decorated this open concept living, kitchen and dining room as part of a full home renovation for a couple who had downsized but still wanted to host family dinners and memorable events. It was important that the space felt large and airy with a fresh take on rustic farmhouse since they had come from a large country home. The light coloured fabrics and warm, distressed wood tones helped create the airy, casual, and inviting feel of this dining room.
How would you describe your decorating style?
My decorating style is “comfy minimalism”. I love mixing textures and shapes to create balance between clean lines and coziness. I decorate homes to reflect the homeowner’s personal taste and give them room to breath and relax.
