Tell us a little bit about yourself and your space.
I'm actually an interior designer. Interior Design is undoubtedly my love and passion. It is everywhere I go and everything I see. My design isn't just one singular style or aesthetic - it's fueled by creativity, actioned with ingenuity, and inspired through life. This bedroom entry was for a client of mine - she asked for a space that was cozy, warm, but still contemporary. I absolutely love how it turned out; while the colour palette is muted, the textures together make the space thrive.
How would you describe your decorating style?
My personal style is modern and contemporary. A less is more approach. Though I love mixing new and old. In my own living room, I have toy trains from my partner's grandparent, artwork from my family farm etc. Pieces that tell stories mixed in with new to be current and to add balance.
Tell us about your favourite Urban Barn piece and why you love it
My favourite Urban Barn piece is the Florence Sofa. I purchased it many years ago for my condo in Toronto.
