- Hand finishing gives each piece unique character, texture and appearance
- As a step in the staining process, paints are rubbed onto the finish to highlight the wood’s grain and texture
- Each piece is distressed by hand to create an aged appearance
- Added character includes distressing to edges to achieve the appearance of a lifetime of wear and tear
- Expect natural variations in wood grain and colouring
- The wood grain pattern creates a natural pattern across the tabletop; the grain pattern will not match up perfectly between any two sections of the tabletop
- Features a subtle spatter effect for a character-rich finish
- By nature, wood will expand and contract with changes in weather, temperature and humidity
