UB Trade Terms and Conditions

The terms and conditions outlined in this section are for the UB Trade program. These terms and conditions may be changed at any time without prior notice to the registered members. Any modifications to the terms and conditions of this program will be available in the UB Trade program section on urbanbarn.com and will be effective upon publishing. Urban Barn reserves the right to contact members directly through the contact information provided by the member at any time regarding changes made to the program or to their membership.

Qualification

Interior designers, decorators, home stagers, and architects may apply for membership to the UB Trade program. To qualify you must provide all of the following:

2. 2. A professional certification or proof of membership in a relevant professional organization, from one of the following, or a website or Social Media URL:

   • • IDIBC (Interior Designers Institute of British Columbia)
   • • APDIQ (Association professionnelle des designers d’intérieur du Québec)
   • • ARIDO (Association of Registered Interior Designers of Ontario)
   • • DDA (Decorators & Designers Association of Canada)
   • • CSP (Canadian Home Staging Professionals)
   • • IDA (Interior Designers of Alberta)
   • • IDAS (Interior Designers Association of Saskatchewan)
   • • PIDIM (Professional Interior Designers Institute of Manitoba)
   • • Others as approved by the Company’s management
   
   

We reserve the right to make all membership determinations at our sole discretion. Each professional must individually apply for membership by submitting their individual qualifications. Incomplete applications will not be accepted.

An application cannot be sent on behalf of a design firm or entity. Individuals employed at the same business must apply individually; the business itself may not become a member. The membership is non-transferrable and can only be used by the individual who has received approval for the Trade Account. Photo identification and proof of membership must be provided to receive the discount at the time of purchase. The member is responsible for notifying Urban Barn of any changes made to their information. Members can update their information by email to ubtrade@urbanbarn.com. Members may cancel their membership at any time by email to ubtrade@urbanbarn.com.

Employees of Urban Barn who are also industry professionals may apply for membership. They may only use their discount when making purchases on behalf of their clients outside of the hours they are working for Urban Barn.

The misuse of the membership may result in membership termination. Misuse may include: use of the discount for personal purchases, any resale of merchandise purchased using the discount through any retail outlet (e.g., resale on or through any retail or auction web site or store), reimbursement of discount upon merchandise return, transfer of membership, and submitting false, expired or misleading information in connection with a membership application.

Urban Barn reserves the right to make all membership terminations at its sole discretion. Urban Barn reserves the right to review and terminate a member’s eligibility if believed that the member has violated the terms of agreement. Urban Barn will notify the member that they are no longer eligible to participate in the program. Members may cancel their membership at any time and for any reason by emailing ubtrade@urbanbarn.com.

Membership Credentials

Members may be subject to additional terms and conditions outlined in their Welcome Email. Membership terms are based on calendar years. A membership is valid for two full calendar years after entry into the program. For example, memberships granted on November 30, 2024, will expire December 31st, 2026. Urban Barn may renew the membership if the members have made a minimum of one purchase in the past two years and have otherwise fully complied with these terms and conditions. Urban Barn is not responsible for unauthorized use of membership credentials.

Discount

Members will receive a 15% discount on regular priced items purchased in Urban Barn stores in Canada or online at urbanbarn.com. Discount cannot be redeemed at Urban Barn outlets. Urban Barn reserves the right to change the discount rate at any time. The discount amount is non-negotiable. The discount cannot be combined with any other offer, discount or promotion. The discount does not apply to the purchase of gift cards, services, shipping and handling, taxes or other fees. The discount cannot be applied to purchases made prior to being a member of the program. The discount is not redeemable for cash or cash equivalent. Urban Barn reserves the right to change the list of items not eligible for the membership discount at any time without notification to the registered members.

Purchase and Payment Terms

The UB Trade member must show photo identification in-store to access their discount and will be asked to validate their account by confirming contact information. Purchases made online using a validated Trade account will reflect member pricing automatically where applicable. All warranties pertaining to the products and services provided by Urban Barn belong to the purchaser at the time of purchase. All applicable warranties are non-transferable. The member is responsible for payment of all applicable taxes, service fees and any other applicable charges on the discounted amounts in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations. Product returns or exchanges are subject to the Urban Barn return policy and will only be provided to the purchaser at the time of purchase. The amount will be credited on the original method of payment based on the total amount paid (including the membership discount).
