Our complimentary service connects you with an Urban Barn Design Partner. You’ll chat with them one-on-one in a 30-minute appointment, and they’ll follow up with a personalized plan and shopping list.

What can a Design Partner help me with?

Our team specializes in room styling, product knowledge and design for real life. Whether you’re starting from scratch or updating a room, they can help you explore furniture, décor, colours and styling options based on your space and how you use it.

What happens during my appointment?

Your designer will learn about your space, your goals and your personal tastes, plus any lifestyle considerations such as kids and pets. They’ll narrow down options and create a design plan tailored to your needs.

What should I have ready before my appointment?

To get the most of it, have photos and measurements of your space ready, along with information about any existing furniture you’d like to keep. It’s also helpful to think about your preferred colours, style, budget and how you use the space.

Do I need to know my design style before booking?

Not at all. You don’t need to have a fully formed vision beforehand. Your designer will ask questions about your preferences and help you discover a direction that works for your space and lifestyle.

How will I meet with my design consultant?

Virtual appointments are available through Zoom or Microsoft Teams. Your booking details will include instructions on how to join from a laptop, desktop computer or mobile.

Will I receive design recommendations that I can use to shop?

Yes! Your designer will create a personalized shopping list featuring furniture and décor selected for you. Recommendations are linked directly to their online product pages, making it easy to explore your selections and shop.

What happens if I need to cancel or miss my appointment?

If you can no longer make your appointment, please cancel or reschedule as soon as possible. If you’re running late, please join your virtual appointment as soon as you can.
