Concrete Care
Sophisticated and visually striking, concrete and fibre-reinforced concrete furniture bring urban charm to any setting. In this guide you’ll find our care tips to help preserve and protect the beauty of your furniture for years to come.
Material Traits
Hairline cracks are a naturally occurring trait that don’t affect the piece’s structural integrity.
They provide your piece with unique character and make it distinctly your own.
Protection
Your furniture is not stain-proof. Coasters and trivets should always be used with wet or hot cups and dishes.
To protect your furniture from discolouring or dulling, keep away from:
• Direct sunlight
• Prolonged exposure to heat and moisture
• Harsh & abrasive chemicals
• Acidic substances
• Ammonia-based cleaning products
Prevent scratches by using a coaster, placemat or protective felt tab for décor/dishware with unfinished bottoms. Avoid dragging sharp and coarse objects across the surface
Maintenance
Spills must be attended to right away with a soft, clean cloth and water. Wring the cloth until nearly dry and simply wipe the surface. Dry the surface completely after cleaning. Regular
dusting is always recommended.
When moving pieces, carefully lift to prevent damage and avoid scratching floors. Use felt tabs to protect both furniture and floor.
