Although it seems like this was a really, really long Winter, it’s finally over. Well, at Urban Barn at least.
Inspired by fresh flowers, natural sunshine-y tones and the sense of adventure, the new Spring collection is sure to fill your home with the feeling of the season.
As you may have read in our previous blogs, the colour stories are ‘Blooms & Bonbons’, ‘Sea to Sky’, ‘Pretty in Coral’ and ‘Grey Matters’.
Blooms & Bonbons
The pink, yellow, blues, creams, greys, and white are soft and delicate, without being overly feminine. We’ve seen these colours, especially the rose quartz in fashion recently and it seemed like an organic evolution to make it’s way to home decor.
Sea to Sky
Blue is a colour that pairs so well with neutral tones and fits in most spaces. Our Sea to Sky collection brings the naturally occurring shades of blue, lending itself to a feeling of escape and looking to Summer adventures down by the shore. We’re really excited about the Bloor sofa in blue, it can be both a statement piece in a bright space, or blend together with a room with lots of natural tones.
Pretty in Coral
We’re always fond of teal and aqua. They bring a relaxed freshness to a room without being overpowering. It can be a challenge to reinvent such a favourite each season, but good news, we’ve done it again! Alongside the blues, is a coral theme, bringing in some warmer pinks and oranges which pair with both wooden furniture and lighter toned pieces.
Although it’s exciting to introduce new colours each year, there are always those with a design sensibility that favours the more neutral. These additions to the Spring collection are timeless, season-less and very soothing. The new Anson Sofa has a solid wood base, with plush feather and fibre-filled cushions that couldn’t be more velvety soft.
As the days get longer and it gets warmer, we want to spend more time outside. So let’s head into the garden with our new outdoor rugs and patio furniture sets.
